Event Description:

"Intelligence and Continuity: Bridging the Information Sharing Gap between the Public and Private Sectors”
Sponsored by McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP

Intelligence and Continuity
This is the second of two CPE events focused on intelligence.

Attendees will gain an understanding of how intelligence is shared between government and private industry,

and how that information can be used for effective decision-making with regard to continuity planning and practices.

Through a series of speakers and discussion panels we will explore:
•    Current information sharing initiatives at the Federal, state, and local levels;
•    How intelligence can effectively be used to inform decision-making and continuity planning;
•    How businesses are fusing their own intelligence and market information with security information; and,
•    How intelligence has been used to successfully respond to and recover from specific incidents.

The DC Chapter’s goal is to keep our members on the cutting edge of the latest events and trends in business continuity and crisis and emergency management.  We aim to improve public-private partnerships and coordination between Washington, DC and New York City continuity organizations.
