Part II:
An Operational Approach: Protecting Critical Infrastructure in Unpredictable Times

Special Guest Speaker:
Peter M. Curtis, Author of Best Seller, "Maintaining Mission Critical Systems in a 24/7 Environment"

The mission critical industry by its nature faces continuing challenges as technology advances based on requirements that did not exist less than a decade ago. The national energy grid has become highly stressed and exposed, and facilities require more reliable energy than ever before. Additionally a facility can no longer claim to be highly resilient without planning for intentional disruptions.
This presentation will review where we have been and define what must be done from an operations standpoint to maintain and improve the resiliency and reliability of the critical infrastructures that our digital society depends on.  The discussion will also identify cyber security issues, Energy Efficiency, and Clean Energy approaches.
