Personal Bio or Company Description:

Edward Maggio is one of the founding members of the Contingency Planning Exchange. From the inception of the CPE, Mr. Maggio has held many positions, including two terms as Program Coordinator, and he currently serves as Vice Chair of Program Logistics.

Mr. Maggio's responsibilities have been to automate the processes of the CPE mailings, secure facilities for meetings, and coordinate the content and logistics of the CPE information folders distributed at all meeting.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Maggio was the Manager of Contingency Planning for the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications of the City of New York. He has 42 years of experience in Computer Operations, Disaster/Recovery and Business continuity Planning. Mr. Maggio is also certified by New York City as a Computer Software Specialist, in Disaster Recovery.
