Personal Bio or Company Description:

Roseann McSorley has been working in the Securities and Banking Industry since 1990 - post completion of undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communications at Iona College, New Rochelle, New York

 

Since 1992, Roseann has worked in various capacities for global securities/banking organizations, supporting BCP regionally and globally. Her positions have included working on BCP policies and standards, managing recovery during events, managing internal BCP consulting groups, development of alternate site strategies, the management of the regional Deutsche Bank BCP program in the Americas, and most recently, the management of Corporate Security and Business Continuity, as Regional Head for the Americas.

 

Roseann is the current Executive Advisory Chairperson of the Contingency Planning Exchange. The CPE is a 500-member organization of contingency planners, which has existed for over 21 years in the Industry.   She is also a member of the prestigious “Bankers & Brokers Security Roundtable,” a group of security directors for large Financial Firms. 

 

Roseann is a member and speaker of numerous BCP Organizations: NY Clearing House- BCP Committee, Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ); and has volunteered at various government organizations - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to enhance BCP programs.
