| Personal Bio or Company Description: Peter is the former director and founder of the Public-Private Initiatives group for the New York City Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and a retired New York City Police Sergeant. Peter is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and is the President of Picarillo Consulting & Management Associates, Inc. He also serves as Managing Director for the, not-for-profit, Business Network of Emergency Resources, Inc
Peter brings 13 years of hands-on disaster response and planning to the CPE. While at OEM, he pioneered a program that crafted initiatives to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors in areas related to crisis management and business continuity. He is responsible for several highly successful initiatives in information sharing and operational participation between the public and private sectors, including an emergency access plan for critical business personnel. | |
