| Personal Bio or Company Description: Mark Thomas was formerly a Vice President in Global Security at Goldman, Sachs. He began his career in October 1982, managing the Data Center at the firm's headquarters at 85 Broad Street. He worked at Goldman for the past 25 years and has over 30 years experience in the Technology profession. For the past 11 years, Mark had been instrumental in the development of Goldman’s Business Continuity program and the deployment of software products to assist with the management of the global program. Since December 2006, Mark had been with Global Security where he is responsible for the development of their Crisis Management Centers globally and supporting technology to improve first response capabilities. Mark has been involved with the Contingency Planning Exchange for the past nine years; he was a member of the Strohl User Advisory Board for the past eight years and he also serves as a member of the New York SIFMA Infrastructure Committee. In 2000, he was selected into the Contingency Hall of Fame by CPM magazine for his outstanding contributions to the profession. Mark earned a B.S. in Business and Communications from Adelphi University in New York. | |
