Personal Bio or Company Description:

Edward D. Tracy is a thirty year employee of Paramount Pictures Corporation and is presently the Executive Director, Policies and Controls responsible for the company-wide  management of all internal and external audit activities.

In addition, Ed Tracy’s responsibilities include the development, maintenance and testing of all company-wide business continuity/crisis management plans, the management of company-wide policies and procedures (ensuring that the policies and procedures are in accordance with current Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal control requirements), performance of confidential special projects and investigations and the compliance testing of all Paramount Treasury department’s transactions and motion picture production costs in accordance with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

During the period January 1990 to August 1994, Ed Tracy was the Executive Director,
Contingency Planning responsible for the design and implementation of an Emergency Preparedness Program, an Emergency Operations Center and Business Resumption Plans for the Paramount Pictures Studio located in Los Angeles. These plans were successfully utilized during the 1992 Los Angles Civil Disturbances and the 1994 Northridge Earthquake.

Ed Tracy served in the volunteer fire service for a total of 35 years with the Valley Stream (New York) Fire Department (rising to the rank of Truck Company Captain) and the Sierra Madre (California) Fire Department (14 years as the Chief of Department).

Ed Tracy has frequently been a guest speaker and presenter of programs relating to Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Fire Department Management for such organizations as the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, the Long Island (New York) Hurricane Conference, Fire Engineering Magazine’s Fire Department Instructors’ Conference, Freddie Mac and the Contingency Planning Exchange.

In 1994 Ed Tracy presented a program to the Contingency Planning Exchange entitled:
The Implementation of a Company-wide Emergency Preparedness Program, Emergency Operations Center and Business Resumption Plans Utilizing the Incident Command System as the Management Tool. In addition, during 2007 he presented a program to the Contingency Planning Exchange entitled Business Continuity and Crisis Management Planning.
